Display Taiwan 2009 — The 11th Int’l Flat Panel Display Exposition June 10-12, 2009  /  Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1   Taiwan is the world major source of flat panel displays. This is reflected by the total scale of the Taiwan FPD industry that will pass the $60 billion USD mark in 2009, as shown in figure 2. Taiwan is also the most crucial market for international suppliers of FPD manufacturing equipment, components, and materials. The capital expenditure of Taiwan’s FPD industry totals about $10 billion USD annually. For such a prosperous industry, the “Display Taiwan” is the only exhibition presenting the value chain of the multi-national FPD industry in Taiwan.
